• 5.0 out of 5 stars from RDC -- Fun lighthearted humor detailing the challanges of being new to full time cruising : A fun easy read documenting the trials and tribulations of first time boat buyers/owners trying to escape the COVID infested rat race for some tropical relaxation. A good example of the real life experiences your favorite YouTube sailing channels don’t want to show you presented in a realistic but humors context. Starting with dealing with boat brokers, marina staff, maintenance issues, navigational challenges, weather, and interactions with the locals they met along the way. The lighthearted humor and banter between the characters as they navigate the challenges of adapting to their new life aboard is enjoyable and fun.
